Belfius Asset Management (Belfius AM) is a subsidiary of Belfius Bank established in 2016. As an asset management company, we are responsible for € 32 billion of assets. These are split between (in-house and outsourced) collective funds of € 24.6 billion (for one million clients of Belfius Bank), and portfolios of  € 8.7 billion for 4,500 private and wealth clients.

Our teams have more than 75 staff members (against 27 in 2021), with seven different nationalities, with three main areas of responsibility:

• Centralised investment decisions (“Belfius Convictions”) applying to all client assets of Belfius
• Responsible investment policy for Belfius (ESG)
• Management of € 30 billion for over one million clients of Belfius, either through collective funds, or through personal mandates for private and wealth clients.

These € 30 billion of assets are a strong testimony of the trust received year after year from our clients. These funds represent their savings for their retirement, for the funding of their children education, or for their holidays. The Client Communication Portfolio Management team at Belfius AM is a diverse and dynamic team of two people.

Your main responsibilities are as follows:

• participating in the implementation of the Marketing and Communication strategy governing asset allocation expertise and products,
• participating in Investment/Asset Allocation Committee meetings,
• developing and maintaining a very good knowledge of the technical aspects of financial products and investment processes,
• monitoring and, where necessary, explaining products, their development and associated transactions,
• drafting and monitoring all documentation relating to our listed asset allocation products and products for private clients: product sheets, brochures, presentations and other sales tools,
• acting as an internal contact for all enquiries regarding products, processes and investment strategies for private clients,
• helping to prepare our roadshows and seminars; helping sales teams cover private client products/management,
• giving presentations, chairing information sessions and providing training on private client expertise and products,
• working closely with other Client Portfolio Managers and with the Private Portfolio Management division.

• You have a Master's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• You have excellent internal and external communication skills, both written and oral, in French and English. You have a good working knowledge of Dutch.
• You are capable of improving service levels and communication to meet customer expectations.
• You are adaptable, flexible and have the social skills to interact with the client and to ensure that they understand what you are saying in relation to their own expertise, knowledge and financial skills.
• You are able to represent Belfius Investment Partners internally and externally.
• You share your knowledge and vision of the market.
• Your approach to work is client-oriented, structured and methodical.
•  You are able to summarise and to analyse.
